The last words a person should say before they become two, are words that have the meaning and power to make oneself excited and pleasured to become this. A wedding no longer means what it used to. The unity between two people used to be sacred and only done if truly within the heart is felt. Now it is simply done for the pleasure of the dance, the dress, the special celebration. This is not the meaning of a unity. A man I know had been married to his wife for 70 years before cancer struck and tore her away from him. This was 4 years ago. To this day, he is still madly In love with this woman who dedicated her love to him, and him to her. He questions whether the meaning of love has changed or simply the way it is perceived. The answer differed from person to person. Not all marriages are set to happen just because. Rare but known is there a wedding because the truth about love is set… For me, a wedding is no longer in question. I have found my true love but is it true enough to exchange the vows that aren’t meant to be broke. Is it true enough to stand at an alter infront of some higher power and VOW that my love is eternal? Truth be told. I. Don’t. Know.

Update on Gaza, Day 6. According to the New York Times, 19 more people have been killed in Gaza since midnight local time, bringing a current death toll up to 91, with 700 wounded (200 of those being children). According to Health Ministry official Ashraf Al-Kidra, civilians make up half of the Palestinian death toll. [Update: According to Al Jazeera’s figures, it’s 96.]

This morning an Israeli airstrike hit the Shurooq media center, a high-rise in Gaza City where a number of media organizations, both local and foreign, have their offices. The building houses Hamas’ television station, Al Aqsa, and this is the second strike on the building within two days. BBC journalist Paul Danahar tweeted a photo of the media center just after the strike (included in the above photoset).

Mona Mahmood of The Guardian interviewed West Bank resident Sameeh Muhssein about demonstrations in the West Bank in solidarity with Gaza. He said:

The Palestinian Authority is trying to stop the protesters … under the pretext of not having more causalities. If the aggression continued on Gaza, I can promise you there will be a third intifada as the political solution looks really futile and people are very upset here as they learn every few minutes of more martyrs in Gaza. We can’t put our feelings in a refrigerator and just keep watching; it is really heartbreaking watching the bodies of the children under the debris.

From Cairo, Hamas political leader Khaled Meshaal has stated:

All options are available. If Israel wants a ceasefire brokered through Egypt, then that is possible. Escalation is also possible, especially as there are differences in Israeli statements. We are prepared and ready for all options.

According to Reuters reporting, Meshaal is for a truce if demands are met, demands that include an end to Israel’s attacks and an end to the siege.

My heart knows what it desires and it’s unfortunate that people are not accepting to this.

The pain of loosing you as someone I once cared about its worse than realizing she lied when she said she loved me. She swore I wouldn’t loose her and she would always be here for me. My heart now ask where is she? Was I not good enough to love? What happened to our love?

I’ve spent these past few weeks realizing what my life is about. I have a beautiful son who looks at me and my world just flips and shines for. He is my reason of life. My everything belongs to him. I see that now, and I feel my purpose at life is to raise a life the right way despite my bad choices.

So yea, you still have my heart, 10000000000000% like from the beginning. And yeah you shattered me and broke me to pieces. But guess what? My child found glue and I’m getting back together to myself. And I’m becoming stronger.

At first I was furious with you, enraged that you used me, and I fell for it. I wanted nothing of you and wanted to just disappear.

But I’m actually thankful. Because of you, I now know I’m capable of actually caring for someone more than just friends, and not only that, but you made me realize so much about myself I was ashamed to show. I am a lesbian. And I’m thankful every day to be alive. And I’m realizing you have to live every day like its your last. Yes, she taught me this. Now I’m figuring out the rest of my book. I’m finishing the blank sheets and adding my own touch of color. So even though I hurt, and find a way to cope with that, I’m happy you were in my life and I’m smiling because we happened. I fought for her so long and believed all the lies she would feed me. How could I have been so stupid as to believe someone like her can love Someone like me… Maybe this is one of gods life lessons that’s supposed to make my life more understandable? Okay, but where is the lesson in this? I just got my heart broken and the person who my heart belongs to, still has it. Keep it. I’ll try to find something else to put in its place… Isn’t it funny though how the person who always promised to love you and never hurt you, is always the person who hurts you the most. I guess that’s it then, don’t trust people you love… I’m gonna move on, change myself up around and make myself happy. It’s gonna suck and it’s probably gonna be one of the hardest things I’m ever gonna do, but I have to… I’m gonna disappear for a long time, heal, and be happy… I hope your happy, cause I’m not…
